E Street Cottage is a project of love – love for the historic property, our charming city, the restaurants and shops that make our community so special, and our love for hosting friends.

E Street Cottage was built almost 100 years ago by a gentleman for his new bride. Even better? He cared so much about her that he built the house next door for her mother. How many guys would do that?!

We hope you will enjoy the amenities while you are our guests. The beds are Nectar mattresses and frames and while our bedrooms are not huge, we hope you find them cozy.

Recycling and Trash

Bins are located on the south side of the house.

Parking

Please park on the south side of the house on the gravel driveway.

Please do NOT use the shared asphalt driveway – this is our neighbor’s driveway, not ours.

Dishwasher

Please rinse and load the dishwasher before you check-out. Soap pods are under the kitchen sink if you’d like to run it. If not, we will run it after you depart.

Games and fun!

If you enjoy board games and puzzles, please feel free to peruse our collection.

If you finish a puzzle, leave it! Don’t put it back in the box! We want to see your creation!

Television

Both TVs are Roku-enabled. Simply connect to our wi-fi and stream your services or enjoy local television. We also have DVD players connected to both TVs with an assortment of DVDs to enjoy.

Coffee

We love options when it comes to coffee! You will find a traditional drip coffee maker in the kitchen with coffee and cream in the fridge.

In the sunroom, you’ll see an espresso maker. Coffee for the espresso machine is located in the freezer.

And lastly, if you are a true aficionado or just want to experiment, please enjoy the French Press.

If you’re looking for locally-roasted beans, or would rather not make your own coffee, we recommend visiting Espresso Elevado, which is located one block south of Kellogg Park

Backyard

We hope you enjoy our little outdoor living space in the backyard. You’ll find a charcoal grill (charcoal is on the shelf inside the back door) to enjoy. We also have a little firepit and plenty of seating.

Please do not turn off the outdoor twinkle lights.
